Gopher Control 2023

Gopher Control has been scheduled for Thursday, July 6th, 2023 with additional dates to be announced over the Summer. Four key areas in Town will be treated as indicated on the map below:

1. A – Irricana Cemetary (Henricks Dr)

2. B – Irricana Off-Leash Dog Park (Henricks Dr)

3. C – South Ball Diamond (Henricks Dr)

4. D – Main Entrance to Town (2nd Ave)

We are happy to note that this treatment consists of non-hazardous mustard seed, which is not toxic-pesticide based. Although there is no risk to residents or pets, we encourage everyone to avoid these areas as the remaining holes are being filled.

RoCon is a non-toxic, poison-free, foaming rodenticide registered with Health Canada for use in controlling Richardson Ground Squirrels and Norway Rats. It’s ideal for our intended use as it targets the Richardson Ground Squirrel while keeping the area safe for residents, pets, and non-targeted species.
